Public, Private, Secret

They say everyone has a public life, a private life, and a secret life. To me, that brings up the question, how much do you keep from people?

I have a very public life. Nick would say that even my private life is public, as I tend to share things that he would prefer I keep private. I'm very open about things, though. I want people to learn from things that I've done. Maybe not make the same mistakes and learn from the experiences that I've had - learn how to do things differently. I've led what can be referred to as a colorful life.

Does everyone have a secret life? "They" say we do. What do I keep from people? None of people's business. 😂 If I told, it wouldn't be secret, would it?

So what are your thoughts on public life, private life, and secret life?

Let's switch the topic to mania. This sort of ties into my public/private life. I'll admit, I'm a bit manic right now, or at least I feel myself crawling up to it. I'm working on getting my meds straightened out, but there's not a heck of a lot that can be done because of the time of the year. By the time we start messing with the meds and they kick in, the summer season will be done and the depression will kick in, and meds will have to be readjusted again. It's such a viscous cycle. What do I do in the meantime? Try to manage it.

Nick is pretty accommodating. (Can I just pause a minute here to thank Ms. Duthey for teaching me how to spell accommodate? Hawks, you know what I'm talking about.) He rolls with my symptoms and humors me. He's bent over backwards to make me happy in just about every area while still keeping control of the situation.

I've been walking to get some of the extra energy out. Well, that's one of the reasons. The second reason is that I'm borderline pre-diabetic. I figured I could afford to lose some weight anyway. It seemed to be a good reason to walk. I have a beautiful view on my walks, and right now my favorite playlist is this:

I just love The Weeknd. I also listen to a lot of Rob Thomas, Sam Smith, Queen, Bon Jovi, and Coldplay. Then, of course, there's the random playlists. I tell you, music keeps me going.

This week I'm up at the cabin for sister's week. I expect to be tan by the time this week is over. However, the weather is not quite cooperating. I'll get my legs in the sun, then the sun will disappear. It even started to sprinkle on me! Hopefully as the week goes on, things will improve. I'm determined to use both of my swimsuits this week and even keep up with my walking. (Walk in a swimsuit? Nah!)

Until next week's dirt...
